oh my cats....oh my cats!

i had me 8th chemo today and guess what...ive gone into remission, they done me bloods and exam and I have no signs of lymphona and me next chemotherapy is in 2 weeks.....whoooohoooooo....so happy mummy cried xxxxx

going fur me 8th chemo tomorrow (friday 5th August 2011)

hopefully me bloods will be ok so they can give me the chemo.....if all goes well the sessions after will be every two weeks......I is still not eating or drinking on me own, but mummy is managing to give me 3 meals a day by finger feeding me and watering me too......i does try to eat small biscuits but without alot of joy...mummy will ask them tomorrow if it could be me teeth?

its 21.18 and mummy is going to feed me before we sleep.....goodnight all x

I have been fed me breakfast by mummy this morning and is now having a nap. Me friends on facebook have been very very loving and supportive, donating items, bidding on me auctions, voting fur me in the gourmet competition and all the prayers, well wishes and just being in their thoughts...THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH XXX

mummies entry - friday 29th july 2011

I havent been on here for a while, just to update you all with my girls latest.

She went in for her 7th Chemotherapy session today and she seems to be doing well. Since last week she has been noticably brighter and even when i got her home from her chemo she was exploring as opposed to the usual going to sleep , I guess all our babies will react different to chemo and it seems that willow has picked up alot since her 6th session.

SHe is still not eating on her own and I continue to finger feed and water her, she has manged to put on weight and the vet said today that if she keeps her weight as it is she will be happy with her, her aneamia has stablised too.

the vet said she is very pleased with willow as most cats who were in her condition dont last this long...my girls a fighter so proud of her.

She is still resting alot but seems happier in herself. The vet is still unsure why she is not eating on her own and since last week she is on a antacid to see if it helps, so far it hasne apart from me hearing er crunch one or two biscuits in the night...small paw steps at a time aye.

Ive been informed that next week , her 8th session of chemo will be the last of the weekly sessions and they will drop to fortnightly after that.

vet just called mummy and says i bees bit grumpy but she not suprised cause its not nice having the chemo injections so next time she say they bees sedating me to make the whole experience more comfortable.....said i was still bit anemic but not worse than last week and i is still producing cells. she say me protocal is fur 8 weeks then it will switch to every 2 weeks.......she say maybees ulcer in me tummy that why i not eating on me own so she say i stop the ant nausea and she give me antacid tablet this help with the nausea too...she say the anti nausea is only made fur dog and she dont want me to keep taking, mummy understand....she did say the anemia could be bleeding from the gut but asked mummy bout me *clears throat*..me lady poos and asked is they black like tar mummy say no they look normal so she thinks that ok and if any change i tell her....vet was very nice nad she was the first one I saw when i came here on emergency.....well looks good me love and i is doing well....I IS WILLOW WARRIOR PRINCESS mccluney xxxxxx

yesterday morning i went to the vet because they had to give me a chemotherapy tablet called ENDOXANA it is a special one once every 10 days just went to me local vet......anyway i was good girl and vet say "wilow lost some weight exactly 700 grammes, but its not a good way to judge her weight loss because that was befur she had the operation which removed the mass she had on her intestines"...so she looked sum more on me computer records and she say "oh no wonder.....what they removed......*sit down me love and we hold paws* was the size of a tennis ball" oh my cats!
