The vet phoned mummy in the morning and said I still wasnt eating but was comfortable, he also said he was going to see if he could hurry up my lab results, reminding mummy that we are dealing with a serious cancer and what is best for me ismost important. Mummy totally agrees.
Anyway at 3pm mummy came to visit me and she bought all me favorite foods including other things which I dont normally eat, like sardines, boiled chicken etc even baby food as suggested by other fur baby owners in same situation who used these things to jumpstart appetite and eating again.
Mummy left me a blanket from mine and her bed the day before but they had not put it in me cage, so mummy done that immediately and i went straight on it and even though they had put the collar back on my neck I managed to get cosey and lay on my side and even stretched my legs out like i normally do.
I didnt eat any of the food or treats, and the nurse reminded mummy that it could be product over load which would also make me not want to eat with all the smells etc....mummy said that made sense.
mummy spoke to the nurse about posibilities of an appetite stimulant and she said that would be something the would now look into including using a feeding tube.
Mummy stayed for 3 hours andjust had a 5 min coffee in that time.
So i layed on me side and mummy stoked my nose just the way I like it and I purrrred softly for the whole time, mummy left me just after 6pm.
